A typical consultation package includes a site visit that results in a follow-up report. The consultation is a discussion where we look at the garden space together and talk through your ideas, goals, questions, etc. The report is a lasting resource with a summary of information on garden conditions, recommended plant species with informative profiles, and management guidance. Consultations can be adapted depending on your specific needs.

For garden designs or installations, estimates are provided after an initial consultation since pricing will depend on the scale of the project.

  • Walking your property to create a report of site conditions such as existing vegetation, sun, moisture, and soil types. We will provide a list of suitable native plants and possible locations for garden projects

  • A detailed consultation will produce a plant selection and layout, tailored to your goals and conditions

  • We can help source plants for your projects from our nursery and other regional growers

  • We provide guidance and/or labor to prepare and install native plantings. Gardens may be planted into existing beds or can be newly established - we love to shrink lawns!

  • We can provide maintenance with a knowledgable eye for plant species and without practices that would harm beneficial insects and wildlife

Snailseed owner Maeve Snyder began in back in the fall of 2025 to plan our landscaping while our house was being built. With budget in mind and a complete design, in April 2026 she did the install of over 800 plants. Our native habitat is BEAUTIFUL and fortunately she has discovered some native naturally growing on our lot.
